The Aims and Objectives of ZUREL BROS SA is to continuously:

  • Equip learners with practical skills

  • Market the final product (diamonds and learners) globally and locally
  • Provide for and sustain employment of the people in South Africa, in return contributing toward the upliftment of the South African economy

Quality Policy:

ZUREL BROS SA, producers of polished diamonds, Jewellery and competent NATED Learners, is committed to providing a coherent framework for Quality Improvement incorporating transparent processes, evaluation and action planning. Is committed to comply with the requirements and continually improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008.

We undertake to continuously improve our internal processes and strive to exceed the expectations of our shareholders, aiming for high standards and excellence in all aspects of the polishing of diamonds, manufacturing of Jewellery and the training of NATED Learners. This will be achieved through the setting of quality objectives to be met and be reviewed on a regular basis.

Commitment in the training and development of staff in order to fulfil our vision will remain a priority.

Occupational Health and Safety:

Zurel Bros SA endeavours to promote a healthy and safe working and learning environment for its employees and learners. The institution has a Fire Fighting Committee, First Aid Committee and a Health and safety Committee, all of the employees in these committees are fully trained to conduct their duties correctly.

The institution was audited with regards to the Occupational Health & Safety Act, act no 85 of 1993 and all it’s relevant regulations and the findings were as follows, “This sites safety is of the highest standard and we were impressed beyond belief by the ultra high standard of safety and safety administration, the result being that the said premises is 99,99% compliant with the requirements and legislation, we foresee no hazards to persons, health and the environment, if Zurel Bros SA continue their training on the said premises”  GOLD AWARD.

Zurel Bros SA has scope extension to conduct Occupation Health & Safety representative training to the surrounding mines in Polokwane and Limpopo and with the high level of accidents and fatalities due to unskilled labour; we endeavour to make a positive impact in out province. We have fully skilled trainers and facilities to offer such training and a separate OHAS training department together with assessors, trainers, marketers and administrators have been set up to tackle this all important task which is at hand in South Africa, we have trained over 500 employees on the mining industry so far.

Our canteen wnow provides all our apprenticeship and learnership employees lunch at no charge.
